Pediatric Nurse Practitioner–Acute CareThe University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Nursing invites applications from qualified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners–Acute Care interested in graduate nursing education. Bring your clinical expertise and passion for teaching to a collaborative faculty dedicated to preparing future nursing leaders.The faculty member provides high-quality graduate nursing education, student mentoring, and pediatric acute care expertise. Primary responsibilities include teaching, curriculum development, and program evaluation within the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner–Acute Care track, including core courses and collaboration across graduate programs.The faculty member reports to the department chair for faculty development and evaluation and works closely with the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specialty coordinator and graduate program leadership to support program goals and student success. The role also contributes to the College's research, scholarship, service, and practice missions.Work Schedule and Appointment: The primary work location may be the Little Rock or Northwest Arkansas campus. Work is generally scheduled Monday through Friday, with hours varying according to teaching and program needs. Additional time may be required. Academic rank will be determined at hire.
