Quality Engineer - Data

Immediate need for a talented Quality Engineer. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Columbus, IN(Onsite). Perform GD&T analysis and utilize PolyWorks for 3D measurement and part validation. Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa) to resolve internal and external quality issues. Implement Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce scrap, rework, and process variation. Collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, and customers to manage change and resolve nonconformities. Mentor less experienced team members in quality practices and core tools. Experience with CMM programming or 3D scanning. ~ Knowledge of 6S, welding processes, or Design of Experiments (DOE). ~ Proficiency in Minitab or advanced Excel for statistical analysis. ~2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry. ~ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related technical field). ~ Proficiency in GD&T, AIAG Core Tools, and metrology software. ~ Strong communication skills to convey technical data clearly to stakeholders and customers.
