We are committed to: Relentless Diligence Faithful Stewardship Unshakable Integrity Respect in Action Joy in the Journey Role SummaryThe Assistant Project Manager assists with field production operations for the Commercial Walls & Ceilings team, ensuring multiple commercial projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with budget, schedule, and quality standards. Serving as support to the field and executive leadership, this role is responsible for assisting with workforce planning, labor productivity, and overall operational performance, requiring strong leadership, manpower forecasting ability, and the operational insight to keep projects on track while upholding Higgins Group's quality standards. Key ResponsibilitiesProvides support with daily production activities across multiple commercial projectsAssists the Project Manager to align labor, materials, and equipmentMonitor job progress and proactively address production delaysConduct regular job site visits and field auditsAssist with hiring, performance evaluations, and corrective coachingManage labor budgets for projectsMonitor productivity, hours, and production ratesIdentify cost risks early and implement corrective actionsWork closely with leadership to maintain profitabilityReview blueprints, schedule, specifications, and scope requirementsEnforce company and OSHA safety standards QualificationsMinimum of 3 years commercial drywall and metal stud framing construction experience Superintendent or foreman management experience preferredStrong knowledge of commercial blueprints, management software and estimating Out-of-town travel as requiredEmployment contingent upon passing Drug Test, Physical, and E-Verify
