Food Runner

The Marriott Seattle Airport is hiring a Food Runner to join our Food & Beverage Team. The food runner bridges the gap between the kitchen and the dining room. They deliver food orders from the chefs to the guests quickly and accurately, assist the wait staff, and maintain clean service stations to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities: Deliver dishes from the kitchen to the correct customer tables promptly Check orders against tickets for accuracy, garnishes, and presentation standards Communicate special requests, allergies, or delays between the floor and kitchen staff Assist servers by clearing dirty plates, refilling water, and setting tables Stock service areas with clean trays, silverware, glassware, and napkins Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work fast and multitask in a high-pressure environment Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for long shifts Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation rules High school diploma or equivalent (preferred by some employers) Compensation: $20.74 hourly
