Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the construction industry? Carr and Sons Masonry is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Pinellas Park, FL. As a leading structural concrete contractor with over 50 years of experience, we are known for delivering top-quality concrete solutions for commercial projects. Daily Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, mini excavators, forklifts, lulls, and backhoes
- Perform tasks related to grading to prepare surfaces, backfilling, and excavation for further construction work
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate operations and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Assist in the movement of material and equipment around the jobsite as needed
- Reliable transportation is required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by troubleshooting minor issues with equipment as they arise
Required Skills:
- 1- 3 years experience in operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) preffered but not required
- Physical stamina and stregth to handle tthe demands of the job, including lifting heavy loads when necessary
- Ability to work effectively on a construction site while adhering to safety regulations
- A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks performed
Salary and Benefits:
- TOP PAY
- Minimum hourly: $21.00
- Maximum hourly: $40.00
