Industrial Mechanic/Electronic Technician

Job Description

One of Kentucky's Best Employers is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic/Electronic Technician for a facility with world-class uptime requirements. Candidates should have expert knowledge of electrical and mechanical components.


Responsibilities:

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; and examining the form and texture of parts.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Rapidly responds to mechanical maintenance questions and requests.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Equipment Maintenance
• Excellent with electrical and mechanical repairs
• Ability to reach Schematics
• Technical Understanding
• Ability to safely operate a broad range of Power Tools
• Must be detail-oriented and a great communicator
