Job Description

Switchgear Assembly Technician

Company: DataONE Construction

Location: Millville, NJ

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, First Shift

You start your morning at a clean bench with a fresh set of drawings and wiring diagrams. After reviewing the spec, you lay out breakers, relays, meters, terminal blocks, and DIN rail, then mount every component with precision. By mid-morning, you’re cutting, bending, drilling, and installing copper bus bar exactly as called out, ensuring fit and clearances are spot on. After lunch, you route and label control wiring, crimping the correct connectors and lugs, and then pull out the torque wrench to verify every bolted connection. You finish the build with continuity and point‑to‑point checks, mark results per quality procedures, and complete inspection documentation. If needed, you help package finished gear for shipment, assist with receiving parts, and keep the workcell tidy and safe.
