Responsibilities
- Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor abilities, cognition, and daily function.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in harmony with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Provide education on therapy methods to empower patients and families in maintaining progress outside of sessions.
- Track Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine treatment approaches to keep patients on their path to recovery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Continued learning and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is mandatory
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential
- A deep-rooted passion for assisting others in achieving optimal independence
