Job Opportunity: MDS Coordinator, RN
Our organization is currently looking for a dedicated MDS Coordinator, RN to oversee and manage the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process at our skilled nursing facility located in Butler, AL. This pivotal role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the quality of care provided to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct and review MDS assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support the development of personalized care plans that aim to optimize clinical outcomes and reimbursement.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, therapy teams, and other interdisciplinary groups.
- Educate team members on documentation standards and best practices.
- Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Analyze resident data to identify opportunities for improving quality measures.
- Promote a compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
- Experience with MDS assessments and the RAI process is preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to educate and mentor staff effectively.
