Forklift Operator

Our client, Chemical Manufacturing industry is seeking a Warehouse to join their team. As a Warehouse, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting inventory management, safety compliance, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse

Location: McCook, IL

Pay Range: $18

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

• Handle, store, and transport chemicals in accordance with safety regulations and company policies

• Receive incoming goods, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and inspect for damage

• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and labeling

• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems

• Yard for warehouse is located outside: Weather gear is provided as needed

What's Needed?

• Forklift Certification (required)

• Experience working with chemicals and understanding of proper handling procedures is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Previous experience in inventory management, shipping, and receiving (preferred)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
