Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our surgical services, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting various surgical procedures, including hearts, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, GYN, and robotics (DaVinci and Mako). Our facility is a Level I trauma center with a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals during medical procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions pre, intra, and post-operatively.
• Administer medications and manage patient safety and comfort.
• Document relevant patient information in the Meditech system throughout the surgical process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Previous experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in operating room skills and knowledge of surgical procedures.
