Registered Nurse - Ortho/Neuro/Pediatrics

Location: Salem, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00

Job Description: Join our dynamic team in a fast-paced unit specializing in orthopedic, neuro, and pediatric care. Our unit offers a supportive environment focused on patient advocacy and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide post-operative care for orthopedic and spine surgical patients.
• Administer treatment plans and medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• PALS certification and experience in caring for pediatric patients is preferred.
• Familiarity with post-operative orthopedic care is a plus.
