As a School Psychologist, your expertise will help foster the academic, emotional, and social growth of young learners for the new school year. Key Qualifications Valid School Psychologist certification Experience in educational or school-based settings, with knowledge of best practices for students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Effective communicator, able to collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and outside professionals Demonstrated ability to tailor support to individual student needs Primary Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and assessments Interpret results and provide actionable recommendations to school staff and parents Support the creation and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver counseling and intervention services to students, addressing a spectrum of academic and emotional needs Consult with educators and families to improve learning and social environments Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to problem-solving for student success Promote positive behavior support strategies school-wide This is a 40-hour per week contract role with placement flexibility to ensure the right fit within PK-8th grades-allowing your experience and interests to impact where you are most needed.
