Medical Assistant$1,000 Sign-on BonusMedical Assistants provide critical support to the nurse practitioners and physicians in providing quality medical care to both medical and behavioral health patients.Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):Take patient vital signs, including but not limited to blood pressure, pulse rate, height, and weightRoom patients and establish a reason for the visit. Document chief complaintWork collaboratively with the provider for the coordination of quality health care for clinic patientsManage patient flow with the correct balancing of scheduled appointments and walk-ins according to the number and skills of providers presentClean medical equipment as necessary. Clinic hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday. Current need for this role is Tuesday - Friday 8am-6pm. Although this is the typical schedule for the role, this position may be scheduled to work any of the days the clinic is open (Monday through Saturday) and may be scheduled to arrive 15 minutes prior to opening and may be scheduled to leave one hour after closing, depending on patients scheduled.
