Wound Care Nurse

Job Summary:

At Beachside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, we are seeking a compassionate. experienced, and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with complex wound needs. Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive wound care services to patients with acute and chronic wounds, including assessment, treatment, and education
Conduct wound evaluations and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Implement evidence-based wound care practices, including debridement, dressing changes, and wound cleansing
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve optimal wound outcomes
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote wound healing and prevention
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program
Current Florida RN licensure
Minimum 0 years of experience in wound care or a related field
Strong knowledge of wound care principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
