HR Generalist

Position Summary Human Resources Generalist – Hagerstown, MD, United States NewCold, a global leader in cold‑chain logistics, seeks a Human Resources Generalist to support the onsite team at its Hagerstown facility. The role involves supporting local and regional HR processes, executing HR activities within established guidelines, procedures and laws, and collaborating on local and international HR projects. Key Responsibilities Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR issues, rules and regulations. Collect, validate, and provide salary mutations to the payroll provider for timely and accurate local payroll. Collect, process and manage all local personnel data. Ensure accurate and concise records during all phases of local recruitment processes. Monitor and administer absenteeism of the local organization in line with health and safety legislation. Compile and maintain HR overviews and spreadsheets, such as monthly HR reports, personnel overviews, salary overviews, leave registration overviews and pension overviews. Support the Director of HR in various local and international HR projects. Requirements 4–7+ years of HR Generalist experience. Experience with onboarding newly hired employees, explaining company benefits to new and existing employees, and supporting corporate and regional hiring, employment laws and guidelines. Education/Certification Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred). PHR or SHRM‑CP certification (preferred).
