What You'll Do

• Provide specialized neonatal care for patients from 22 weeks gestation and above, including neonates with respiratory distress, cardiac or surgical needs
• Administer IV medications such as vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids using Pyxis systems
• Ensure accurate documentation through EPIC electronic health records
• Implement SBAR communication to coordinate care effectively with team members and families
• Perform and oversee procedures including arterial line management, central line care, and interventions for neonatal abstinence syndrome
• Manage ventilator settings and respiratory therapies (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, pharmacists, physical therapists, radiology, and social services

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Ohio RN license and BLS, NRP certifications
• Experience in NICU Level III or IV settings
• Competency in cardiovascular rhythm interpretation and management
• Proficiency in gastrointestinal feeding and IV therapy, including umbilical arterial and venous catheter care

Preferred:

• Previous experience at Nationwide Children's Hospital or similar facilities
