Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (Note: To be discussed upon application)
• Competitive salary range: $100,588 to $143,769 annually (equivalent)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert perioperative care to cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Assist in complex cardiac procedures, including vein harvesting and surgical assistive tasks
• Manage ICU and surgical patient care, including rounding and evaluations
• Participate in clinics and operating room coverage, Monday through Friday
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, physicians, and healthcare professionals
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and labs
• Develop and execute comprehensive care and follow-up plans
• Prescribe and manage medications per policy
• Perform bedside procedures appropriate for adult cardiac patients
• Ensure accurate, thorough clinical documentation
• Operate independently under physician supervision, demonstrating strong clinical judgment
• Complete ongoing CME to maintain and enhance skills

What You Need:

• Valid Colorado Physician Assistant license and certifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery and ICU management
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
