MARKETING LIAISON NEEDED
A Nursing Home located in Brooklyn, NY is seeking to hire a strong & outgoing Marketing Liaison.
The Liaison will be responsible for facilitating patient admissions via marketing and education activities with contracted and potentially contracted hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, respite centers, physician, and other community resources.
Some of the specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Visiting hospitals on a daily basis
- Creating working relationships with social workers/case managers at the hospital
- Serve as a liaison with health care professionals (i.e. physicians, discharge planners, social workers, health care coordinators, etc.) and agency employees to coordinate safe transitions from medical facilities to the nursing home setting.
- Marketing/social media
Position Requirements:
- Experience as a Marketer in a Nursing Home OR Admissions OR Social Worker in LTC/Hospital setting .
- Must possess prior relationships with area Brooklyn Hospitals
- Ability to read and review PRI-to be able to clinically accept patients
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, policies, education, community relations, demonstration, organization structure, social and activity services, government relations, etc., as they relate to nursing facility operations.
- Must possess the ability to plan, organize and effectively present ideals and concepts to community groups/agencies.
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
