Job Description
RN - Med-Surg Acute Care

Schedule

12-hour night shift including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks; guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Current RN License to practice in the state.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med Surge/Telemetry or similar RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Acute Care/Med-Surg unit.
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Utilize specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and standards of care.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities.
