We are looking for two 1st shift and one 3rd shift Production Line Supervisors.

Position Summary

Ensure that direct reports perform their duties in a productive, efficient and safe manner and to ensure that plated products meets customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise employees on various jobs/tasks to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and according to safe work practices
• Start-up, maintain, troubleshoot and complete documentation/validation of the process parameters for assigned production line
• Counsel employees, conducting regular reviews of work, evaluations and handle disciplinary matters and disputes as appropriate/necessary
• Review and approve chemical analysis and additions for production chemistry.  Complete hull cell analysis and age testing as specified
• Write process changeover instructions and set expectations for hourly workers
• Prioritize manpower to maintain production schedule, direct Platers to efficiently run lines
• Check assigned lines for scheduling, correct job number, material size, plating specifications, coil trace, coil count, etc.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Shipping departments as required
• Train employees as needed
• Perform regular audits of the production process both documented per schedule and daily during routine line work
• Participate in developing corrective actions and root cause analysis, process improvement activities and maintain lean manufacturing improvements throughout the process
• Use personal computer as necessary
• Maintain regular and satisfactory attendance
• Perform work outside of normal business hours as needed

Other Functions

• Perform other work as required.

Qualifications:

• Industrial Technician, trade school or other post high school education is required
• At least two years of experience supervising workers is preferred
• Personal computer proficiency that includes Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are preferred
