Job Description

Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide services within our Montgomery County preschool special education program and in community-based Early Intervention (EI 0-2) services.

The Physical Therapist will:

• Provide therapy services to support children's gross motor development, mobility, strength, and participation in educational and daily activities.
• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans and Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals, as appropriate.
• Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and caregiver coaching across center-based and community settings.
• Monitor and document progress toward therapy goals and adjust interventions based on data and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, service coordinators, families, and other related service providers to ensure coordinated supports.
• Participate on IEP and IFSP teams as needed, providing input on motor development and adaptive equipment.

This position follows either a school-year calendar with summer opportunities or a year-round calendar depending on program needs, and may consist of full-time or part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License required.
• Pediatric or early childhood experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and family engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both center-based and community/home settings.
