About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years strongly preferred License: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license Certifications: BLS, Clienttion Badge Must-Have: - Scrub Experience required - Availability for up to 2 weekend call shifts per 4-week scheduling period - Willingness to work at least one holiday period Description: Position requires an OR Registered Nurse. Will work three 12-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM. On-call requirements may include up to two weekend shifts. Travelers must be prepared to work during holiday times. Scrub experience is strongly preferred. Candidates must possess a valid RN license and required certifications. The position is within a busy operating room environment, catering to various surgical specialties. Nursing teams include both Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists. Travelers should have experience in a magnet-designated department that utilizes cutting-edge technology. The unit may require flexibility in scheduling. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
