Assistant Property Manager

Assistant Property Manager • Indio, CA • West Coast Self-Storage Group. This full-time position will be going between IndioPalms RV and Palm Springs. We are looking for an experienced RV enthusiast with extensive, hands‑on knowledge of recreational vehicles. The ideal candidate understands all aspects of RV care and maintenance, including proper storage procedures, battery and fluid management, tire pressure checks, and generator hookups. Whether it’s preparing an RV for long‑term storage or getting one road‑ready, you know exactly what it takes to keep these vehicles in top condition. Benefits $21 per hour plus monthly & quarterly bonus potential Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Paid Sick Leave and Vacation 401(k)/Roth with matching funds Annual Profit Sharing Employee Discount Referral Program On the Job Training Promotion opportunities Day to Day Responsibilities Show available RV spaces, discuss our premium RV services, and guide customers through the leasing process Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives Provide exceptional customer service, including assessing customers’ storage needs (in person, phone, and web inquiries) Manage, audit, and balance the cash drawer and petty cash Perform general office tasks (filing, managing customer accounts, sorting mail/deliveries) Maintain property to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards (cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs) Other duties assigned by leadership Qualifications Strong knowledge of RVs, including battery level checks, fluid level checks, tire pressure checks, and hooking up generators to RVs Ability to self‑manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required) Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Equal Employment Opportunity West Coast Self-Storage Group (WCSS) is committed to equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.
