It is a temporary assignment with a night shift, designed to provide clinical coverage and support for patient throughput and safety. Assess vital signs, administer medications and treatments per physician orders, and manage IVs and basic wound care as appropriate. Monitor patient safety, comfort, nutrition, and activity, while coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team. Document patient findings accurately in the electronic health record; communicate effectively with physicians, peers, and families. Support discharge planning and patient education to ensure appropriate transitions of care. Maintain infection control practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Requirements Active RN license in the assignment state (Kansas) or eligibility to obtain licensure for this assignment BLS certification (American Heart Association) or equivalent Ability to work night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) and meet unit coverage needs Eligibility to work in the United States and to complete standard credentialing and background checks Experience in an acute care or observation unit setting is preferred Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current ability to practice as a registered nurse in the stated location Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer skills Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract Fast credentialing and onboarding process Ongoing credentialing assistance and compliance guidance Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
