OVERVIEW

The Senior Manager, Event Marketing & Experiences, is responsible for the brand presence and execution at events in North America across Performance and Sportstyle. In this capacity, this role will own agency briefing, execution, and reporting on events. This person will manage our network of agency partners, ensuring projects are aligned with global guidelines. Success in this role is dependent on cross-functional work with brand, field, and trade marketing. The Senior Manager, Event Marketing & Experiences looks for innovative way to connect with core sport communities through in-person events. This role will demonstrate the return on investment on sponsorship and events.

SCOPE OF WORK: All footwear, apparel and gear for Performance & Sportstyle

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

• Build event strategy playbooks and tiering to support the full North America community and cultural event ecosystem
• Lead the planning, execution and post-event analysis of all Tier 1 owned events and Sponsored Events
• Support consumer experience team with a focus on both acquisition (new consumers at events) and retention (S/Plus loyalty program member weekends)
• Manage event logistics and budgeting to ensure successful outcomes
• Scout and manage the brand agency network
• Manage event ecosystem inclusive of community & media partnerships, owned retail, wholesale partners and other opportunities as needed in partnership with trade, field and brand marketing teams
• Identify key event marketing trends, consumer insights and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
• Where applicable, connect the online/offline consumer journey for events
• Expected job-related travel, up to 50%

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

10-12 years experience in event marketing, or related field.

Experience in contract negotiations, athlete and/or influencer and ambassador team management.

B.S. or B.A.  In Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
