Your specialized training will be essential as you partner with staff to manage evaluations, provide behavior interventions, and shape MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) practices. You will support students with higher needs and play a key role in effective special education management. The dual-district structure means each day brings fresh collaboration and opportunities to build relationships while developing innovative, tailored solutions.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid School Psychologist licensure (or eligibility) for Minnesota
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and reporting
- Experience supporting MTSS, behavioral intervention, and special education service planning
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to engage with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability, especially with travel between two district sites
- Commitment to advancing student success and well-being
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and develop actionable reports
- Support intervention teams with data-driven recommendations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic or behavioral needs
- Assist in special education planning for students with higher needs
- Document processes in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Travel between assigned districts as required
