Substitute CustodianSubstitute Custodian District Wide Shift Hours: Varies by day and building. Please see attached job description. During the summer the hours may be modified to a day shift. Position Purpose: The Custodian supports the staff and students of USD 232 by providing a safe, clean, operational, and productive learning environment with a customer service mindset. Starting Salary: $16.64/hour (commensurate with experience). Anticipated start date: Rolling start date through the school year. Requirements: All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) we can accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test. Must pass standardized strength & agility testing requiring lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching. Requires climbing and balancing. Must work indoors and outdoors year-round. Must work in noisy and crowded environments. Must work in and around dust, fumes, and odors.
