Magic Memories is looking for aLeadPre-K Counts Teacherto join ourMagic Memories Norristown family!
As a Pre-K Counts Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of the children in your care, creating a supportive and educational environment, and upholding the core values of Magic Memories. You will have the opportunity to strengthen the overall culture of the center and to be a role model for our staff, families, and local community.
Pre-K Counts Teacher Responsibilities:
- Ensure thehealth, safety, and supervision of childrenat all times
- Maintain classroomratios and supervision standards
- Support apositive and nurturing classroom environment
- Assist with planning and implementingdevelopmentally appropriate activities
- Lead activities such asstorytime, centers, music, and play-based learning
- Encourage children to follow classroomrules and routines
- Monitor children'sdevelopment and progress
- Communicate professionally withparents and leadership
- Uphold Magic Memoriespolicies, procedures, and core values
Pre-K Counts Teacher Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
- Level I Early Childhood Education Teaching Certificate
- Minimum 2 years of experience in childcare
- Exceptional communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
- A desire to make a difference in the lives of children!
No weekend or evening hours!
