Weekends: Rotating weekends required. Description Wellspring is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families, and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing and Rehab team in Monroe. In this role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care while supporting seniors in your local community. Job Title Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location Wellspring Skilled Nursing Campus – Monroe Reports To Nurse Supervisor / Director of Nursing (DON) Position Type Full-time or Part-time | Hourly Responsibilities Provide quality nursing care that promotes resident rights, dignity, individuality, and freedom of choice. Conduct daily resident visits to observe, assess, and document physical and emotional status. Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members. Keep nursing leadership informed of resident conditions, changes in status, and other relevant clinical information. Supervise nursing activities on the assigned unit and support staff in accordance with established policies and procedures. Interpret, implement, and adhere to organizational policies and procedures. Respond promptly to resident, family, and staff inquiries within established timeframes. Follow all safety and infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene and disposal of soiled materials. Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the State of Michigan Board of Nursing (required). Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program. Minimum of two years of nursing experience preferred (home health, medical, surgical, or critical care). Schedule And Compensation Employment type: Full-time or Part-time Schedule: Night Shift (4:45 pm – 5:15 am) Weekends: Rotating weekends required.
