Retail Sales Associate - 2614

Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time retail sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The pawnbroker/retail sales associate will greet, engage, and assist customers on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role involves processing jewelry, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and other merchandise transactions. Responsibilities Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions. Performs open/close procedures and maintains a clean, stocked sales floor. Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items securely. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates legal aspects of transactions to customers. Collaborates with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience. Completes assigned training and fulfills other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willingness and ability to stand, stoop, walk, climb, push, pull, and lift for extended periods. Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification. Minimum age 18 years. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work with people and be team‑oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and perform basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and office machines. May be required to work in multiple locations. Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage $14.00–$15.00, plus commission of 2–8% on transactions (average $2.55 per hour on top of base rate). Earned Wage Access program: withdraw up to 50% of earned wages up to seven times per payroll cycle, available from day 2. Unlimited commission above hourly base rate. Paid vacation: one week after 6 months, additional week after 1 year, two weeks each anniversary thereafter (subject to state/local adjustments). Sick/Personal leave: 8 hours after 6 months, 16 hours each anniversary thereafter. Employee discounts, tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per year, access to discounts from 1,000+ companies.
