Certified Athletic Trainer MLR Healthcare is looking for a dedicated and skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team. Job Summary: As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will provide comprehensive care for athletes and active individuals, focusing on injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation. You will work closely with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal performance and safety for all participants. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat athletic injuries and provide immediate care on-site. Develop and implement injury prevention programs and conditioning strategies. Coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-play protocols for injured athletes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of injuries, treatments, and athlete progress. Educate athletes, coaches, and parents on injury management and prevention techniques. Collaborate with healthcare providers to create comprehensive care plans. Attend practices, games, and events to provide ongoing support and care. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited program. Current certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers. State licensure in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain). Strong knowledge of sports medicine practices and emergency response. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
