Maintenance Technician

The Old Globe seeks a general maintenance technician with a background in building maintenance, to work for this award-winning, acclaimed regional theatre located in beautiful Balboa Park. Knowledge and experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and/or HVAC maintenance strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Performing preventative maintenanceResponding to work requestsEvent set-up and take-downAppliance maintenance and repairPlumbing repairPreventive maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment, including monitoring boiler and HVAC unitsElectrical work, including replacing and installing electrical components and equipmentA proactive, self-starting approach is strongly preferred.The Old Globe is actively committed to fostering a culture of equity, diversity, inclusion, & access in all areas of our operation.
