Field Service Representative - Water Treatment

Job Summary As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including media filtration, wastewater, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF). Key Characteristics Conduct maintenance and calibration activities Consult with customer management and operation teams Excellent mechanical know how and problem‑solving skills Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance Duties & Responsibilities Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, and other site‑specific testing requirements Enter and complete work orders in the Maintenance Program (MaintainX) Other duties as assigned Qualifications – Required 2 years of experience in industrial, oilfield, refineries, chemical plants Electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting) Able to lift 50 lbs. High school diploma, GED, home‑school certification, or equivalent, plus 2+ years of service/maintenance experience in an industrial environment Current TWIC card Current driver’s license Qualifications – Preferred Forklift experience/training Bachelor or associates degree in STEM or a technical certificate in instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical engineering Working Conditions 5% travel (training/other site visits) Hot, dirty, loud, moving equipment Working with chemicals for water treatment Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting day 1 Life insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Parental leave 401(k) plan – 3% default contribution plus matching Flexible spending & health saving accounts AD&D insurance Disability insurance Tuition reimbursement Salary Range: US$ 30.68 per hour – US$ 34.61 per hour.
