Merchandiser/Cashier

Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Responsibilities Greet customers on sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to parts specialist. Check out customers in a quick and friendly manner; handle returns efficiently. Act as main shoplifting deterrent and front floor security; check for shoplifters. Keep the front area stocked and fronted, stock merchandise according to planograms or displays, and complete sales preparation. Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms; make all price changes. Ensure sale signage and flyer rack are stocked, maintain sale merchandise quantity, remove sale material when sales end. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts and overstock returns; complete store to-do list and team weekly tasks. Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities. Clock in/out according to company policy. Assist express lane when counter is busy. Qualifications Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences. Good interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills. Previous cashier and/or stocking experience preferred. Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish highly desired. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
