Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, followed by the development of individualized treatment plans based on specific goals and functional outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and specialized equipment, to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Track, document, and analyze patient progress to ensure adherence to treatment protocols; regularly reassess and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal recovery.
• Educate and engage patients, caregivers, and family members in therapeutic exercises and proper use of assistive devices to foster independence and self-management in health.
• Stay current with treatment methodologies by participating in workshops, attending professional conferences, and engaging with peers through professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our team, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes, among others. Our holistic approach ensures that therapy encompasses both physical and emotional needs, creating a comprehensive care experience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients from varied backgrounds.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of responding to the unique needs of patients and the demands of a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred.
• Experience with a range of rehabilitation techniques and modalities is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
