Assembly & Test Technician II

Our team in Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician II to join them. You will report to the Process Manager and will have an onsite, 2nd shift work schedule in East Aurora, New York.

This is a temp-to-hire position with plans to convert to a direct hire within the company after 6 months. Please ensure the PRE-SCREEN questionnaire is attached to the candidate profile. Hourly pay rate (to the candidate) of $31/hour - this is the BASE rates (meaning shift differential would be added on top of that) 2nd shift hours are 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm They will receive shift differential beginning with their first day (10% shift differential) They may need to train on a different shift (1st or 3rd) "It will depend on what and where our need would be at the time. They may be asked to train on any of the shifts we have and then move to their assigned shift once trained." 1 st shift hours are from 6am 2:30pm. 3rd shift hours are from 10:30 pm - 6:00 am

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• At least 3 years of related experience in a related technical field.
• In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company's "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.

As an A&T Technician II, you will:

• Perform assembly activities using a variety of mechanical and electronic measurement equipment and specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging and torque mechanisms to obtain desired build requirements.
• Work from drawings, work instructions, parts lists or other instruction and provide written communication defining performance results and situational circumstances.
• Test operations include setting up and performing operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands. This activity uses hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic test equipment, fixtures and tools to obtain desired performance results.
• Diagnose test failures and assess hardware condition to provide recommended rework instruction and configuration changes.
• Perform daily administrative responsibilities to support overall operations.
