Role Description: We are seeking a qualified applicant to fill the Family Law Paralegal position at our Puyallup Office. Five years of family law experience is required .

The Paralegal will support their assigned attorney and legal team, draft pleadings, and work with clients from intake through final disposition. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Clio, MyPleadings, Linx, and Microsoft Office.

The position can be in person, remote, or hybrid.

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of family law principles and general Law concepts, with five years of experience in domestic relations matters required.

• Candidates should possess skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents for family law cases.

• Candidates should have document review skills, including organizing, analyzing, and summarizing financial records, court documents, and case materials.
\n
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear client communication, professional correspondence, and coordination with courts and counsel.

• Candidates should have strong research skills, including legal research using online databases and factual investigation to support case strategy.

• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience as a family law paralegal, proficiency with case management and e-filing systems, strong attention to detail, and excellent time-management skills.
