Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced clinicians for a night shift role in a Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTVICU) located in a Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital. The shifts are structured as 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30. Please note that there are mandatory holiday shifts, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day to qualify for holiday pay.

Special Requirements

Applicants should have experience with post-operative care for Open Heart surgeries, bedside procedures, and ICU protocols including CRRT and ECMO. A proficiency in handling complex patient diagnoses such as CABG, heart failure, and cardiac arrest is essential.

Additional Information

This position requires the ability to float to different Intensive Care units, PCU floors, ED, and PACU as needed. Orientation will involve 72 hours of training, and modules will need to be completed during orientation and annually. All applicants should possess the ability to work under pressure and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Licensure

Pending licenses may be accepted. All candidates must have a non-local driver's license on file as locals within a 100-mile radius are not considered.
