Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a contract opportunity supporting elementary students in the Kansas City, MO area for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. With a focus on providing speech and language services onsite, you’ll directly impact a small group of approximately 20 students over the span of 2–3 days a week. This role is perfect for speech-language pathologists who take pride in direct collaboration with young learners and educational staff within a school setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Missouri.
• Previous experience delivering speech therapy in a school-based or pediatric setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with teachers and families.
• Commitment to onsite presence—virtual/voco services are not part of this assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language assessment and therapy for a caseload of elementary-age students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address diverse communication needs.
• Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to promote student success.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive therapy environment that encourages student growth.
• Observe all relevant guidelines and compliance regulations set by the school and state.
