Job Overview Travel Physical Therapist – Pensacola, FL – 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute patient care plans for diverse acute‑care patients. Supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within facility guidelines and adhere to state board regulations and insurance requirements. Coordinate with medical‑center personnel and physicians for team‑focused care. Utilize adaptive equipment and medical‑center computer systems for daily tasks. Create and modify care plans based on patient condition changes. Provide timely, accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of clinical experience (1 year preferred; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates). Current BLS certification and state‑specific licensing. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
