Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2-5 years of experience, including fluoroscopy and OR proficiency, for a community hospital setting.

Details

• Community hospital setting within the X-Ray department
• Adult acute care and outpatient patient population
• Work performed across ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, and Operating Room settings
• Procedures include abdomen, lower/upper extremity, spine and pelvis, chest and thorax, head, enema studies, and fluoroscopy studies
• Mobile/surgical procedures including C-arm, portable chest, and portable abdomen
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, Agfa, and PACS equipment
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Monday-Friday schedule from 7:30am-3:00pm with every other weekend evening shift coverage
• Must work two of the three winter holidays

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Active Virginia or compact license required in hand at time of consideration - license required if applicable
• Community hospital experience required
• Fluoroscopy and OR experience required
• Proficiency in Epic required
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures including skeletal, chest, abdominal, fluoroscopy, and portable studies
• Located in the Coastal Virginia region near Virginia Beach and Norfolk
• Facility cannot accommodate PAPR fit testing needs
• Candidates with any license or background history hits will not be considered
