Job Opportunity

The Outside Sales Representative/Field Sales Rep will own an established route in the Phoenix-area market. They will be adopting an existing list of accounts but will largely be tasked with continuing to build their book of business. Each day begins at the local warehouse, where you will load inventory, review route needs, and prepare the company van before heading into the field. You will visit existing customers, sell products from the van, manage relationships, identify new needs, and prospect additional accounts along the route. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a bootstrap company and be directly involved with their growth and scale.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily field route across the Phoenix-area market
• Visit dealerships, tire shops, repair facilities, and related automotive customers
• Maintain and grow an established account base
• Sell automotive supplies, tire/wheel accessories, repair supplies, tools, and related products
• Prospect new accounts through in-person visits
• Build relationships with shop managers, mechanics, GMs, and other decision makers
• Load, organize, and manage van inventory
• Track orders, payments, customer notes, and route activity
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Represent the company professionally and reliably in the field

Must-have requirements

• Currently local to the Phoenix / Scottsdale / Tempe area or already planning a concrete move to the area
• Clean, insurable driving record
• Comfortable driving a company van daily
• Comfortable with in-person field sales and customer visits
• Strong communication and relationship-building ability
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Willing to prospect new customers in person
• Organized enough to manage route activity, inventory, and follow-through
• Comfortable with a hands-on sales role that includes loading and managing product
