Benefits Comprehensive orientation program for a smooth transition into our setting Generous paid time off and paid sick leave for full-time team members Medical, vision, dental, and employee assistance program (EAP) for full-time team members Company-matching 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability protection for full-time team members Opportunity to join a team of over 44,000 committed to providing exceptional patient care Responsibilities Prepare high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner Operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner Complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements for safe food handling, including sanitation, infection control, risk management guidelines and HACCP plan Complete cleaning duties such as pulling trash, sweeping, and mopping Assist patients in completing menu selections and offer menu alternatives in accordance with food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences Update and validate diet changes in the patient diet management system, and print and distribute reports, tallies, menus and meal tickets Stock nourishment rooms and assist with kitchen stocking Perform cafeteria duties as assigned, including serving, grilling, stocking, cleaning and cash handling Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Food Handlers Card Preferred Qualifications Certification in Sanitation / Safe Food Handling Healthcare or restaurant experience Commitment to customer service Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside the culinary team and leaders #J-18808-Ljbffr SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital
