Operations ManagerPortmeirion Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our homeware distribution center in Waterbury, CT. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of orders across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in consumer packaged goods distribution.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all daily operations of the distribution center, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory controlEnsure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, meeting service level expectationsLead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementOversee workflow planning, labor scheduling, and productivity optimizationMaintain inventory accuracy and coordinate cycle counts and physical inventoriesUtilize and optimize WMS systems to support efficient operations and reportingCollaborate with customer service, sales, and transportation partners to resolve order issues and improve delivery performanceEnsure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and operational best practicesAdditional duties as assigned
