Pediatric DentistLocation: Chicago, ILJob Type: Full-Time (Onsite)Practice Setting: Pediatric Dentistry / Community Health CenterJob Overview: We are seeking a compassionate Pediatric Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs in a supportive, family-centered environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide preventive and restorative pediatric dental careDiagnose and treat oral diseases, developmental conditions, and dental traumaPerform pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, space maintenance, extractions, and composite restorationsAdminister nitrous oxide and local anesthesia per state regulations and practice protocolsEducate children and caregivers on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive careMaintain accurate clinical documentation and patient recordsCollaborate with dental, medical, and administrative teamsFollow HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and Illinois regulatory requirementsParticipate in quality improvement and community outreach initiativesQualifications:DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental schoolCompletion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry ResidencyActive, unrestricted Illinois dental licenseBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric DentistryValid DEA and Illinois controlled substance registrationCPR/BLS required; PALS preferred3+ years of pediatric dental experience preferredStrong communication skills with children and caregiversCommitment to trauma-informed, equitable, patient-centered careCompensation & Benefits:Based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePTO, holidays, and floating holidays401(k), FSA, and HSA optionsLife and disability insuranceLicense renewal fees coveredMalpractice insurance including tail coverageAnnual CEU/CME stipendTuition reimbursementAccess to HRSA Loan Repayment Programs for eligible rolesFor more information, please contact:Phone: (469) 817-9697Email: View email address on click.appcast.io
