Summary
We are currently representing a reputable general contractor with a robust pipeline of projects across the Central Valley. With a strong track record in ground-up construction, DSA-regulated schools, modernizations, and public/private sector renovations, they are actively seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive construction professional with commercial and educational project experience to join a growing team with long-term stability in the Clovis, CA area.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring daily progress and jobsite coordination
Enforce site safety protocols and participate in regular safety meetings
Develop and manage project schedules and updates with input from field staff
Collaborate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and project managers
Review drawings, specs, and submittals to ensure work is built to plan
Attend and lead contractor and coordination meetings to drive milestones
Monitor quality, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate field documentation
Manage material ordering and delivery logistics to prevent delays
Oversee punch list development, system testing, and final project turnover
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of superintendent experience on commercial projects
Experience with DSA school construction, modernizations, and renovations preferred
Ability to manage both ground-up and existing facility projects
Skilled in handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, and scheduling software
Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
Self-starter with a high level of attention to detail and follow-through
