Job Title RN Outpatient Surgery – Operating Room Location Oklahoma City, OK | Outpatient Surgery Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, delivering competent and comprehensive nursing care Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes all changes in physician orders Obtains and monitors physiological data, observes patient manifestations, and intervenes when necessary Administers medications as prescribed; initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products Assists physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments Interacts with patients and families to communicate the care plan, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions; delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of nursing experience Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures; strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Experience / Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a Board Approved Program Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques effectively Experience responding to the cultural and language needs of diverse patient populations Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient surgical environment with a variety of patient cases ranging from simple to complex Supportive setting that values strong interdisciplinary collaboration and professional nursing practice Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776195.
