Clinical Laboratory Technician - Physician's Office Lab

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technician for a physician's office lab in Graham, North Carolina. The role involves specimen evaluation, performing technical procedures, operating laboratory instrumentation, and ensuring quality control and accurate test reporting in a high-volume setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate specimen acceptability and suitability for testing procedures
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental protocols
- Operate, monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Prepare, test and evaluate reagents and quality control materials
- Document preventative maintenance and report accurate test results
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Chemical, Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- Minimum 1 year clinical laboratory testing experience
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- High attention to detail with strong communication and organizational skills
