Experience with eCW required.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, document medical history, and prepare charts for providers.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Perform basic lab tests, EKGs, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered.
• Process medication refills, prior authorizations, referrals, and specialist appointments.
• Manage EMR documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
• Answer phones, assist patients, and relay messages to providers.
• Support efficient patient flow and daily clinic operations.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.

​ Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant in primary care for at least 5 years, within the last 5 years
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (basic knowledge Spanish Preferred)
• Proficiency in eCW/ eclinical works- at least 3 years, within the last 3 years
• Certification in medical assistance
